How it works
Most editors get hired through people they know. cutconnect is for everyone else: see the work, check who made it, agree the deal in writing. Free for everyone, for good.
If you need an editor
- Browse editors without signing up. Watch their work, see who they've edited for and what they charge.
- Message an editor you like, or post a job as a story and let editors who fit reply to you.
- Agree price, deadline, revisions and what gets delivered with the terms card in your chat. Both of you confirm it.
- Work together. You pay the editor directly; cutconnect takes no cut.
If you’re an editor
- Build your profile: your best edits (upload or paste YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or Vimeo links), who you've worked with, your results and your prices.
- Get a ✓ on your social accounts by adding your profile link to your bio.
- Share your profile like a CV, answer clients, and reply to job stories in one tap.
How you know who you’re dealing with
- Checked accounts. A green ✓ means we confirmed the editor owns that Instagram, TikTok or YouTube account.
- Deals in writing. Terms agreed in the chat stay there, with the date both sides agreed.
- Real reply times. “Usually replies within…” is measured from real conversations. Editors can't edit it.
- Reports and blocking. Report stolen or misleading work on any profile. Block anyone in a conversation.
- Honest labels. Numbers like views and followers are entered by the editor and marked as self-reported.
Paying
cutconnect doesn't handle money and takes no fees, so clients pay editors directly. To stay safe: agree everything with the terms card, split bigger projects into milestones, and don't pay large amounts upfront to someone you haven't worked with. Editors: ask for a deposit on bigger jobs, and send watermarked previews before the final files.
